About Arlington, TN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Shelby CountyArlington, TN is the second fastest growing community in the state. As of 2010, the population was over 11,500, which was an increase of 348% from the 2000 population.  Known as Shelby County’s best kept secret, Arlington was first settled in the 1830s and was originally known as Haysville. The community later began to grow with the founding of the Memphis and Ohio Railroad. The town was renamed Arlington in 1883 after Arlington National Cemetery. Arlington is located about 30 miles to the northeast of Memphis and about 190 miles from the capital city of Nashville.
Arlington is rich in heritage and history, and there are numerous historical landmarks to explore in this community. The Rachel H.K. Burrow Museum features historical items and local memorabilia, and the Blacksmith Shop is one of the few remaining working blacksmith shops in the U.S. The shop is a major attraction when it provides demonstrations at the Arlington in April Festival. Wilson’s Store has been a staple in Arlington’s social and commercial life since it was founded in 1893, and it is the second oldest business operating in Shelby County. One of the newest attractions in this community is the Arlington Senior Citizens Center, which opened in 2003 as a place for the community’s seniors to gather together.

Many residents enjoy living in Arlington due to the four distinctive seasons that the climate here has to offer. Winters in this community are milder than in many other places in the country, and while snow is not plentiful, cold snaps with snowfall are possible. Since winter temperatures can fall below freezing, having a heat pump is a great option for warming up Arlington area homes in the event that a cold front moves in. Likewise, summers can be hot and extremely humid due to air moving into the region from the Gulf of Mexico, so a proper air conditioning and cooling system is needed for best comfort from May to September.
